Every day, we face personal and professional challenges, along with global crises, that can lead to burnout—a condition that results from carrying too much stress for too long. It’s not your fault, yet conversations around burnout tend to focus on individual shortcomings and overlook the bigger systems that affect us all.

The Burnout Liberation approach is different. We’ll work together to identify the external and internal factors (from oppression and marginalization to workload and sleep habits) that contribute to your fatigue, shape your relationship with work, and might be keeping you stuck in a stress cycle. You’ll have the guidance and support to tackle what’s within your control to change and the accountability to keep showing up for yourself.

The goal? To reduce stress and burnout for you and all women of color so we have the capacity to be present in our lives and change the systems causing us harm.

People Like You

Burnout is more than just feeling tired or overworked. If you’re like many of the women I work with, maybe you:

• Move through your day feeling an overwhelming fatigue that never quite goes away.

• Feel overburdened, isolated, gaslit, or undervalued by your employer.

• Don’t think you’re productive enough or performing your best.

• Find yourself unusually irritated by others or requests for your time.

• Realize that headaches, sleep problems, digestive issues, or brain fog have become a regular thing.

• Worry about developing stress-related diseases common in your family.

If any of this sounds familiar, I could be the coach for you. I believe that burnout requires a holistic approach, one that considers not only the symptoms but also the social factors that impact your well-being. Let’s work together to cultivate a deeper understanding of your stress or burnout and your best strategies for healing.

Here’s what one of my clients had to say:

“Nicole was extremely helpful in getting me to think about tackling one thing at a time, making small changes over time that became lasting. I felt accountable to Nicole during our work together in a way that didn't feel pressurising or negative, but rather in knowing that ultimately the accountability and willingness to experiment, improve, and change is with myself.”

COACH, WRITER, EDUCATOR, WIFE, FRIEND, DREAMER

I experienced burnout more than once, but it wasn’t until I started having health problems that I decided to do something about it.

I left my job, explored new opportunities, and eventually changed careers. I’m not suggesting you follow this path… But my journey of self-discovery and healing led me here: to help others prioritize their health and break the burnout cycle.

After earning my coaching certification, I knew I wanted to create the kind of supportive, affirming space I longed for during my own burnout struggles—a space where Black women, women of color, and queer folks like me feel seen, heard, and genuinely supported. I understand how burnout hits differently for those of us navigating multiple marginalized identities—and I’m here to help.
